Writing Rural America

You’re invited to an extraordinary evening of literary exploration with  authors David Joy, Maurice Manning, Crystal Wilkinson & Karen Spears Zacharias. These talented writers will share stories and insights from their own experiences capturing the region’s beauty, culture, and challenges.

• 5:30 p.m. – Program starts
  • Introduction by Catey McClary, Tremont President & CEO
  • Brief author interviews led by Smokies Life Creative Services Director Frances Figart and Tremont Manager of Field and College Programs Jeremy Lloyd 
  • Author discussion
• Following – Book signings with all four authors with books available for purchase.
